About the event

Celebrate Earth Day all weekend long and visit the pop-up village of conservation partners and activities at the San Francisco Zoo.


Teach your children the importance of living sustainably and supporting animal conservation by interacting with professionals who are making a difference. Located in the Madagascar center.


Stop by the CPALI exhibit to learn about conservation through poverty alleviation, locally run programs in northeastern Madagascar, and innovative, nature-based textiles crafted from sustainably harvested cocoons of endemic silk moths and traditional raffia palm. Enter our cocoon count challenge for a chance to win your own wild Ceranchia silk moth collage!


April 18-19 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific.
